I travel between West Virginia and St. Pete, Florida throughout the year.   I feel I have the best of both worlds.  I started in photography about 10 years ago, and have moved from a 1 mp camera to my Nikon D80.  I also just picked up a Panasonic Lumix FZ35 with an 18x zoom.  Very nice.

I see myself more as a photojournalist than a nature photographer.  I have done Event photography for my City for many years and I also did the photographic and journalistic update to our City History book in 2008  (In West Virginia).

I have Prints hanging in several restaurants around town and worked for a local tourist magazine for a few years shooting photos for the articles in the magazine.

I have several photography mentors who have helped me along the way and I appreciate their help and friendship very much.

I use Photoshop Elements for my editing, but I try more than ever to get the image right in the camera and not spend hours on the computer going through hundreds of photos from a parade or festival!
